Customer intelligence begins with the data, including the creation of a solid architecture for preparing and managing integrated views and analysis of data in all its variety, volume, velocity, and veracity. Emerging technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, self-service data preparation, and more are expanding the palette for serving up timely data beyond what the classic data warehouse provides. Data quality and lineage often become bigger concerns, especially in view of data privacy and policy regulations. Cloud computing and virtualization offer affordable options for organizations that need to create and access data resources quickly to meet dynamic needs.

This panel session will focus on strategies and technology trends for preparing and managing data and developing broader data architectures that can serve customer intelligence and analytics requirements.
