What is a TDWI Solution Summit?
Each TDWI Solution Summit focuses on one or more topical areas within business intelligence or in an adjacent market. For example, TDWI has hosted Solution Summits on master data management and now “Deep Analytics for Big Data.” A TDWI Solution Summit is geared to decision makers from organizations that plan to implement a solution in the topical domain within 12 months. By bringing together buyers and sellers, the Summit accelerates the purchasing cycle, enabling user organizations to accelerate the time it takes to research, analyze, and establish a relationship with key solutions providers.
Why is this event different from other analytics events?
A TDWI Solution Summit is an invitation-only summit. It provides an intimate, upscale environment where senior business and technology executives can learn all they need to know about analytical databases and solutions in two days of concentrated learning and networking. Other differentiators are:
- All attendees must qualify to attend
- Qualified attendees receive complimentary hotel and registration
- Attendees get to learn best practices from early adopters in an intimate setting that allows plenty of time for dialogue and follow-up

How much does it cost to attend?
There is no charge for qualified IT and business executives to participate in a TDWI Solution Summit. If you qualify to attend, you will receive complimentary event registration, hotel accommodations for two nights, meals, and social events. The event will be limited to a select number of attendees. You are encouraged to secure your place as soon as possible.
Who should attend?
Attendees either make or recommend purchasing decisions for analytical solutions and plan to purchase an analytical solution within the next 12 months. By role, attendees will be:
- Business executives and line of business managers who want to create a data-driven culture and compete on analytics by driving more value from their investments in data management and people (i.e., business analysts)
- CIOs and directors of IT charged with managing an organization’s data resources and analytical applications who want to help the business apply analytics to address its most pressing issues
- Directors of information management and business intelligence who want to move their organizations beyond reporting and learn best practices for deploying specialized analytical databases and software
- Chief architects who must rationalize the use of specialized analytical databases and software within an established data warehousing architecture and recommend solutions

TDWI will be accepting applications to attend the event through August 13. Following the deadline, all applications will be reviewed, and applicants will be notified by August 25 as to whether or not they have been approved for attendance. Upon approval, we will provide additional details regarding travel, registration, etc.
Please be advised that space is limited to 100 attendees. Spots are not filled on a first-come, first-served basis, but rather based on the qualifications of the applicants.
What will take place during the event?
Main sessions feature expert presentations, case studies, and panels. In addition, there are small group discussions (i.e., roundtables), one-on-one meetings, and an exhibit hall of solutions providers.
Which vendors will participate?
Participating vendors will be the world’s premier product vendors and service providers of analytical solutions.
Will I have the opportunity to schedule one-on-one meetings with vendors and presenters?
Yes, you will have access to a unique online tool that enables you to pre-schedule one-on-one meetings with the vendors and presenters of your choice. You may also schedule these meetings onsite during the event.
