What is a TDWI Solution Summit?
Each TDWI Solution Summit focuses on one or more data-driven best practices or technologies. For example, the 2010 TDWI Solution Summit focuses on master data, quality, and governance. A TDWI Solution Summit accelerates users’ evaluation and decision processes, so they can achieve their organizations’ needs by choosing and implementing a solution as quickly as possible. The summit achieves this end by bringing together a fully hosted audience of IT executives with best-of-breed technology providers and industry thought leaders. The summit will address the full lifecycle of the technical solution it focuses on, from selling and justifying a solution that meets bonafide business needs to architecting and implementing a system that delivers real value.

Who produces the event?
TDWI Solution Summit is presented by TDWI, a respected provider of in-depth, high-quality education, training, and research in the business intelligence, data warehousing, and information management community.

Why is a TDWI Solution Summit different from other events?
A TDWI Solution Summit is an invitation-only summit. It provides an intimate, upscale environment where senior business and technology executives can learn all they need to know about MDM, network with peers from organizations that are actively planning to implement MDM, and meet senior officials of key solution providers—all while spending just two days out of the office. Other differentiators include:

  • All attendees must qualify to attend
  • Full travel participation package, including airfare, hotel expenses, and registration fees for qualified attendees
  • Real-world stories of companies that have implemented relevant solutions
  • Practitioners who can explain how to succeed with an implementation
  • In-depth TDWI research that explains market trends and issues
  • A unique online scheduling system that enables attendees to build their own schedule of one-on-one meetings with vendors and analysts

What are the main benefits of being a vendor sponsor?

  • Guaranteed, pre-arranged private Case Study Presentations with senior IT and business executives in the process of reviewing technology products and services for MDM, DQ, or DG
  • One-on-one meetings with attending senior executives as a follow-up to the case studies—a proven way to drive sales and solidify partnerships. Vendors may schedule meetings 6-8 weeks before the event through our online scheduling system, or schedule meetings on site
  • Access to a higher level of executive difficult to reach through other events and marketing platforms. The invitational model ensures that all attendees meet a strict set of criteria based on company size, job title, role in the decision-making process, and readiness to evaluate and purchase technology for MDM, DQ, or DG
  • Access to the audience in multiple environments—because executives are fully hosted, each attendee is committed to participating in business-intensive engagements with vendors
  • Product demonstrations in a level playing field exhibition area that is also set up for sit-down meetings after the case study presentations have concluded
  • Private meetings with TDWI analysts

Who will attend?

  • CIOs charged with justifying and acquiring a technology for MDM, DQ, or DG
  • Business executives who need to educate their IT counterparts on the business benefits of consolidated master data.
  • Directors of IT who need to implement an MDM, CDI, PIM, DQ, or DG solution soon
  • Senior architects who need to architect a solution soon
  • Business IT managers who have been charged with standardizing customer and other reference data across multiple enterprise applications
  • IT managers expected to deploy the optimal solution • Senior architects responsible for incorporating MDM and DQ into a new service-orientation framework
  • Managers who own relationships with third-party data providers and who need to solve the data standardization and enrichment challenges

What will take place during the event?
The agenda is centered around rich content presentations from MDM, DQ, and DG practitioners and scheduled meetings between attending business and technical executives and vendors, including Sponsor Workshops and one-to-one meetings for follow-up product and partnership discussions. Panel discussions and daily networking activities are also featured.

Will I have the opportunity to schedule one-on-one meetings with attending executives?
Yes, you will have access to a unique online tool that enables you to schedule one-on-one meetings with the executives of your choice. You may also schedule these meetings onsite during the event.

Which vendors should participate?
You should become a sponsor if you are a product vendor or service supplier of MDM, DQ, or DG software, systems, and related solutions.

I’m interested in being a participating vendor. How do I find out more?
