Conference Education

Since 1995, TDWI World Conferences have provided the leading forum for business and technology professionals looking to gain in-depth education on business intelligence and data warehousing. Each TDWI World Conference features a unique program of top-notch instructors, full- and half- day courses, one-on-one consulting, peer networking, and an exhibit hall packed with BI solutions. Designed specifically to maximize your learning experience and training investments, the information you gain and key contacts you make at these events enables you to immediately impact your current initiatives.

The following are TDWI Education programs scheduled in Orlando:

TDWI's Educational Philosophy

TDWI strives to offer a rich and robust educational experience at all of our conferences. Although the majority of TDWI instructors are industry gurus and practitioners, we believe that there is much to be learned from peers and from vendors as well. Your peers frequently offer real-world, pragmatic solutions to many of the same issues that challenge your programs and projects. The vendor community is rich with technical knowledge and skill that is valuable to share. You will occasionally see carefully selected vendors as instructors in the daytime program. TDWI does not endorse any specific products, services, or tools, and goes to great lengths to ensure that course offerings do not have a bias toward particular vendors or solution providers. To sustain the high standard of quality and product neutrality, we ask your assistance and feedback by responding thoughtfully to the objectivity category when completing course evaluation forms.

TDWI offers a conference scholarship program for graduate students and faculty who are either researching or teaching business intelligence or data warehousing. For more information on the scholarship program, please contact TDWI's education department at education@tdwi.org.

CPE Credits Offered

Did you know that the courses you take at TDWI’s World Conference can count toward your continuing professional education (CPE) hours?

Here's How

At the conference, simply pick up a CPE sheet at the registration desk, then have it signed by the room monitor at the courses you attend. Turn in your completed sheet to the registration desk and you’ll receive documentation from TDWI that you can submit to your state board after the event.

Please note that each organization that requires CPE credits uses their own criteria to determine qualifying activities. If you have questions about a specific organization’s CPE requirements, please contact the governing organizations directly.

"My impressions of the TDWI conference: A good overview of a broad variety of subject matter, which actually does a very good job of bringing together the business users and the technical users and allows them to talk on a common platform. That doesn’t always happen in an office. I happen to be a business user, and I think that makes me a bit unusual here, but I’m still able to find common ground to talk about how we can all improve, and the courses give you all that opportunity."
