Conference Scholarship Program
TDWI offers a conference scholarship program for graduate students and faculty who are either researching or teaching business intelligence or data warehousing. Many graduate students and faculty do not have the resources to otherwise attend a conference, and TDWI feels that it is important to support the educational community by providing access to the best in business intelligence and data warehousing thinking, technologies, and practices.
Scholarships are offered for our five World Conferences held throughout the year in various locations. At this time, TDWI is not able to offer scholarships to our Seminar or Symposium events. Scholarships are open to students and faculty throughout the world.
The scholarship covers the conference registration fee and course materials. Scholarship recipients are responsible for their other conference expenses, including travel and lodging costs.
Requests for scholarships must be submitted at least 60 days prior to the conference and should be sent electronically to Hugh Watson and Brenda Woodbridge.
The request should include contact information, the conference for which a scholarship is being applied, and a description of how attending the conference will support the applicant’s research and/or teaching.
