Prerequisite: Familiarity with the basics of BI.
Mark Madsen
Data about customers and their behavior is increasingly valuable and is more accessible than ever thanks to the Web and mobile devices. The biggest areas of impact are marketing and sales, where BI and analytics support have been weak to nonexistent.
Combined with modern architectures and analysis techniques, Web and social data can transform marketing and sales. We will look at examples highlighting online marketing, Web analytics, and social media, and how they generate and use customer data. We’ll review Web technologies and the data they generate that we can use for analysis in a corporate context.
