With the volume of information growing at a rapid pace, there is an increased urgency to transform and filter large amounts of data in order to identify the actionable knowledge leading to improved business performance. This course is an introduction for the business manager to understand the value, scope, and scale of a business analytics program and be familiar with the processes, methods, tools, and technologies employed in this transformation of data to actionable insight. By providing an overview from the business motivation through the definition of performance measures, attendees will understand how an end-to-end business intelligence reference architecture can be used to inform the business manager about the requirements, assessment, planning, design, and implementation of a business analytics program.
