Course Outline
To date, business intelligence has been used primarily for tactical and strategic planning and decision making. However, increasing competition and the need to react rapidly to today’s fast-changing business climate is causing BI to play an ever-increasing and important role in driving and optimizing daily business operations. This trend is leading to major changes in both the functionality and the usability of BI-related technologies and products.
Developing an operational BI strategy in this dynamic and constantly changing environment is not simple. Operational BI applications are often mission critical and selecting the right techniques, technologies, and infrastructure is crucial if applications are to meet business objectives. This half-day seminar shows how you can extend the traditional BI and data warehousing environment to enable a smart and flexible business decision-making environment for optimizing operational business decisions and actions.
